Here's what I've been reading online as I swung around the web recently: Joshua Waulk wrote a post for Gospel-Centered Discipleship on the need for the church to be involved in counseling. He wrote, "This law of Christ was nothing less than the command of Jesus for believers to love one another and their neighbors as they love themselves (Jn. 13:34; Matt. 22:39)." We have responsibility towards one another.
Jeff Medders wrote a post for For the Church about the struggles of pastoral ministry. He writes, "Faith is the antidote to pastoral PTSD." Only by being weak and relying on God for strength, will pastors survive the ups and downs of ministry.
