Web Slinging 11.5.14

It's been a busy week so I haven't had a lot of time to swing around the web. But here's what I found, I hope it's as helpful to you as it is to me. Ryan Huguley had a post about the importance of listening. He wrote, "The less we listen, the more we’re liable to harm." Pastor, parents we can always get better at this.

Redeemer's own Joey Cochran had a post on CMBW about the importance of exegesis and the implications it has for the church, the family and the world. It reads, in part, "Leaders are explainers, and explainers are leaders." This is good stuff for any man (... Dad's, Pastors - I'm looking at you!)

And .... that's it. I've read more, but I'm saving it for another project/blog. Oh, you haven't heard about it or seen it yet? Check out gospelcenteredfamily.com . That's where a lot of my children's, youth, and family ministry stuff will be. (... And yes, that was a shameless plug for the new blog.)

What have you been reading online and found helpful? Leave me a comment so I can check it out.
