Here's what I've been reading as I've swung around the web. Rob Rienow had a post on his blog about a child's heart rebellion. He starts out by saying, "Most of the time when we need to discipline our children, we are confronted with both an incorrect action and an incorrect attitude. Sometimes, however, we encounter a right action with a wrong attitude." This is another reminder to parents to focus on heart and not just behavior.

Zachary Lee had a guest post over a LifeWay on the topic of community accountability. He writes, "Overwhelm them with grace!" This is something we sometimes fail to do.

Carey Nieuwhof had a post listing common temptations of church leaders, husbands, and / or dad. This is a good read for wives and husbands as well (it's not just for the guys).  He says, "You will be tempted to want your kids to do well not for their sake, but for yours. Resist that." This is really helpful.

Job 31 Ministries (Matthew Fretwell)  had a post on what's required to regain broken trust. It reads, "Once trust has been broken, regaining it must begin with honesty ..." If you are married, you need to keep these things in mind because more than likely it will happen.

What are you reading that I'm not? Leave me a link in the comment section.
